The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate import/export declarations in line with HMRC regulations
• Ensure compliance with tariff classification, valuation, and origin requirements
• Proactively monitor shipments and resolve any customs issues, stops, or delays
• Liaise with internal teams to coordinate post-clearance transport and warehousing
• Maintain high standards of compliance and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in customs clearance
• Strong working knowledge of CDS, CNS, and Destin8 systems
• Solid understanding of VAT, duty, and UK customs compliance
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex processes clearly
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a deadline-driven environment

Desirable:

• ETSF experience
• Familiarity with Descartes systems
