Protocol Education
Some children need a little extra support to shine. Others need someone calm, encouraging, and switched on beside them while they tackle the national curriculum. That’s where you come in.
A welcoming primary school in Romford is looking for a confident and proactive SEN Learning Support Assistant to support a small group of KS2 pupils within the mainstream classroom. These pupils are bright, capable, and working at age-related expectations, but they need help staying engaged, managing behaviour, and accessing learning throughout the school day.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be tucked away in a separate provision. You’ll be right in the heart of the classroom, helping pupils stay focused, build confidence, and enjoy learning alongside their peers. Think of yourself as the steady hand that keeps the day moving smoothly.
What you’ll be doing:The school has a genuinely supportive feel, with staff who work together and children who are eager to learn. They’re looking for someone who understands that SEN support is about much more than keeping children seated, it’s about helping them feel successful, included, and understood.
Why work with Protocol Education? If you’re someone who can balance kindness with structure, and you know how to keep learning moving even on the wobblier days, we’d love to hear from you.
