We are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for an acquisitive, forward-thinkingmanufacturing business based in Chesterfield. This is a newly created role due to business growth/demands.

This role will suit someone ready to take their first step into a finance career—either studying AAT or keen to begin.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Updating and maintaining the sales and purchase ledgers.
• Credit control duties.
• Bank reconcilations for several bank accounts, including sterling, Euro and US Dollars.
• Main point of contact between finance and the commercial team.
• Daily calls with the Sales Team for finance-related information.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.

The person:

• The successful candidate will have excellent academic results, including Maths and English.
• Good IT skills are essential.
• A positive attitude driven by curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to learn is essential.
