Family Solicitor (Solicitor, Associate or Senior Associate Level)

• Location: Chichester or Haywards Heath
• Job Type: Full-time / Hybrid (Ideally 3 days Office Based)
• Salary: Circa £55,000 - £80,000 (DofE)

We are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor with approximately 5+ years' PQE to join our growing team in either our Chichester or Haywards Heath office. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a highly experienced Partner and play an active role in supervising and developing a small team. The successful candidate will benefit from an established caseload, with the opportunity to further grow and shape the Family offering locally.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a varied caseload of family law matters, including Divorce and separation, Financial remedy work, Private children matters, Cohabitation, and pre/post-nuptial agreements.
• Support the Partner in the day-to-day running and development of the Family department.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing empathetic and professional advice.
• Play a key role in growing the Family offering in Chichester or Haywards Heath.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Solicitor with circa 5+ years’ PQE in Family Law.
• Strong experience across a broad range of privately funded family matters.
• Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Excellent client care and communication skills, with a sensitive and pragmatic approach.
• Ambitious and proactive, with an interest in helping to grow a department.
