Paraplanner – High Net Worth Clients

A Role for Someone Who Cares About Doing Things Properly

This is an opportunity to join a boutique wealth management firm that works exclusively with High Net Worth individuals earning in excess of £500,000 per year. The firm advises entrepreneurs, business owners and senior professionals whose financial lives are complex — and deeply personal.

Salary up to £65,000 & Hybrid working flexibility with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

The culture is thoughtful, collaborative and quietly ambitious. There is no volume-driven mentality. Instead, the focus is on delivering considered, technically excellent advice and building long-term relationships built on trust.

The successful Paraplanner will be someone who values depth over speed, precision over process for its own sake, and meaningful client outcomes over box-ticking.

The Environment

The team is small enough for every individual to have a visible impact, yet established enough to offer stability and long-term opportunity.

  • Exposure to complex, intellectually stimulating cases
  • A supportive approach to professional development
  • Clear progression for those who wish to deepen their technical expertise
  • A culture that values discretion, professionalism and mutual respect

The Role

  • The Paraplanner will take genuine ownership of cases from inception through to conclusion. This includes:
  • Working alongside advisers from the initial fact-find stage
  • Researching and designing sophisticated planning strategies
  • Producing detailed, technically robust suitability reports
  • Building and maintaining complex cashflow models
  • Liaising directly with clients and their professional advisers
  • Supporting implementation and ongoing review work

The client's work regularly includes:

  • Business exit planning
  • Advanced pension and allowance planning
  • Tax-efficient investment structuring
  • Trust and estate planning strategies
  • Intergenerational wealth considerations
  • The Paraplanner will be trusted as a key technical partner within the advice process.

The firm is seeking someone who:

  • Holds the Diploma in Financial Planning (Chartered or working towards would be welcomed)
  • Has experience supporting High Net Worth or complex client cases
  • Is technically confident, particularly around tax, invesments and pensions
