Recruit UK is working with a highly regarded independent financial planning firm seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Paraplanner who enjoys working closely with advisers and supporting high-net-worth clients with sophisticated financial planning needs.

The business has an established reputation working with successful individuals including senior professionals, business owners, and high-earning private clients.

The Role

  • Support Financial Planners with holistic financial planning cases
  • Prepare detailed suitability reports and recommendations
  • Conduct technical research across investments, pensions, tax, and estate planning
  • Assist with cashflow modelling and financial analysis
  • Liaise with providers, solicitors, accountants, and other professional connections
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure FCA-compliant documentation
  • Work collaboratively with advisers, administrators, and the wider support team
  • Contribute towards process improvements and proposition development

About You

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience within financial planning
  • Diploma qualified (Level 4 minimum)
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and tax planning
  • Experience supporting HNW private clients
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases effectively
  • Comfortable working within an independent financial planning environment
  • Experience with tools such as FE Analytics, cashflow modelling, and back-office systems advantageous
