Information Governance Manager - Research and Compliance

• Location: City Road, London
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: 10-11 weeks (with potential for extension)
• Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are currently seeking an experienced Information Governance Manager to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is crucial for supporting the operational delivery of our client's research Information Governance strategy and work programme.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Lead the coordination and implementation of effective management arrangements.
• Ensure best practices in Information Governance are integrated into working arrangements both internally and with external partners.
• Redesign approvals processes and liaise with the Information Governance Commission Office.
• Manage and provide leadership in the absence of the Head of Information and Governance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• CIPP/E training and other relevant Information & Governance qualifications.
• Extensive managerial experience, including working alongside C-suite executives and deputising in the absence of the Head of Information and Governance.
• Experience in policy work and redesigning approvals processes.
• Proven track record in leading Information Governance initiatives within a healthcare or corporate setting.
• Corporate and NHS experience are highly desirable.
