The Role

As a Financial Planner, you will manage your own portfolio of clients, providing holistic advice across pensions, investments, retirement, and estate planning. You will play a key role in building long-term relationships and delivering clear, effective financial strategies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver regulated financial advice across pensions, investments, and estate planning
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding individual goals and objectives
  • Use cashflow modelling tools to demonstrate planning outcomes clearly
  • Manage ongoing client reviews and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with paraplanning and administration teams to support client delivery
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through referrals and networking
  • Stay up to date with market developments, legislation, and regulatory changes
  • Maintain CPD and uphold high professional standards


About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience advising clients within financial services
  • Chartered status (or close to achieving) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of investments, pensions, tax planning, and retirement strategies
  • Confident user of technology, including cashflow modelling tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Commercially aware with the ability to generate new business
  • Client-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality advice
