Psychology Teacher

Location: Southend-on-Sea
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: £32,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience)

REED Education are working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in the Southend-on-Sea area to recruit a passionate and dedicated Psychology Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2026.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Psychology lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5
• Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum
• Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and department
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Psychology at secondary level (KS4/KS5)
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for Psychology
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
