Overview and Opportunity

We are supporting a growing Accountancy Firm based with the appointment of Corporate Tax Senior Manager.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead client service delivery, managing complex tax compliance and advisory assignments.
• Build strong client relationships, understand their business and priorities, and proactively offer support.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and promote specialist services to clients and professional networks.
• Respond to client queries independently and tailor services to meet their needs.
• Stay updated on legislative and industry changes, advising clients and colleagues as required.
• Lead tax engagements, managing the entire service delivery and coordinating across service lines.
• Ensure high-quality work, balancing risk, efficiency, and ethical considerations.
• Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members, fostering team engagement and morale.
• Allocate resources effectively, monitor performance, and manage formal support or performance plans as required.
• Promote collaboration across teams, encourage innovation, and implement new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Make informed, confident decisions within remit, considering impacts and consequences.
• Challenge existing processes and implement improvements to workflows, fees, and service delivery.
• Encourage ideas from team members to enhance efficiency and quality.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax experience in a similar role, within a practice environment
• CTA/ACA/ACCA/CA qualified
• Experience of dealing with clients across multiple industries would be advantageous as this is in line with the firm’s current client list
• Strong technical skills and the ability to carry out research
