We're looking for a proactive and confident HR Advisor to join our growing team, supporting managers across the business - with a key focus on operational teams within a fast-paced environment.
Description
What you'll be doing:
* Advising managers on employee relations matters including conduct, absence, grievance, performance, bullying & harassment
* Supporting recruitment and onboarding activity
* Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
* Managing HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle
* Producing HR reports and supporting HR projects
* Supporting apprenticeship programmes
* Attending disciplinary, grievance and welfare meetings across UK sites
Profile
What we're looking for:
HR experience in a busy operational environment
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Highly organised with strong IT skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Experience within Transport, Warehouse, Distribution or Wholesale sectors is advantageous
