About the Role

We're looking for an inspiring and experienced School Lead to take ownership of a specialist education site and play a key role in shaping its success.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident education leader who is passionate about driving high standards, supporting staff development, and making a real impact on the lives of young people.

You'll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to lead the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring outstanding teaching, strong pastoral support, and positive student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day running and operational management of the site
  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and pastoral support
  • Drive improvements in behaviour, attendance and student achievement
  • Act as Safeguarding Lead and promote a strong safeguarding culture
  • Lead, develop and motivate staff, including performance management
  • Monitor student progress and use data to inform improvement strategies
  • Work collaboratively with SLT, external partners, and families
  • Contribute to curriculum development and ensure personalised learning is at the heart of delivery
  • Lead on reporting, reviews, and stakeholder engagement

About You

We're looking for someone who:

?? Has leadership experience within an education setting (SEND or alternative provision experience highly desirable)
?? Is passionate about building a positive, inclusive and ambitious learning environment
?? Has strong experience of improving behaviour, attendance and outcomes
?? Is confident leading, developing and challenging staff
?? Can use data effectively to drive improvement
?? Has excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills
?? Is a qualified teacher (or equivalent)
