The Role

We are working with a range of welcoming secondary schools across Leeds who are seeking adaptable and reliable teachers to step in, maintain continuity of learning, and provide a calm, structured classroom environment.

Whether you're looking for one day a week or a full timetable, we will match you with schools that suit your preferences and teaching style.

What Your Day Might Look Like

• Delivering pre-set lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 opportunities may be available)
• Managing behaviour with confidence and consistency
• Building positive relationships quickly with students and staff
• Providing clear handover notes to support continuity

What We Are Looking For

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management
• Ability to adapt quickly and work confidently in new environments
• A positive and proactive approach

Safeguarding and Compliance

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
• Relevant teaching qualifications (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
• Two professional references covering the last two years
• Full employment history with explanations for any gaps
• Compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidelines
