Management Accountant Job – The Great British Drinks Company
The Great British Drinks Company is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our growing finance team at our site in Alcester, Warwickshire.
Founded in 2005 on a working farm in the Warwickshire countryside, the business produces a portfolio of award-winning craft beverages distributed across the UK. As part of an expanding drinks group, we are investing in people, systems, and processes to support long-term sustainable growth.
This is a senior, hands-on finance role responsible for leading the monthly management accounts process, financial reporting, and providing commercial insights that support operational and strategic decision-making in a fast-moving FMCG manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and own the monthly management accounts process
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare accruals, prepayments, and journal postings
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Analyse costs, margins, and KPIs
• Manage stock accounting and margin analysis
• Support year-end accounts and audit processes
• Provide financial insights to management
• Identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
Essential:
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant, Finance Manager, or Senior Accountant
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills
• Experience with management accounts, budgeting, forecasting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
Highly Desirable:
• Experience in FMCG, brewing, beverages, or manufacturing
• Experience with stock accounting and margin analysis
