A well-established Worcestershire law firm with a strong commercial presence is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor / Legal Executive to join its growing Commercial Property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic commercial property lawyer to work on a broad range of non-contentious commercial property matters, combining independent file management with collaborative team working. The firm is particularly interested in candidates with a positive attitude, strong organisational skills and a desire to grow its commercial property practice.

The Role

• Manage a varied commercial property caseload with limited supervision
• Advise clients on sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold commercial property
• Act on landlord and tenant matters, including drafting and negotiating leases
• Prepare and negotiate commercial property documentation (contracts, leases, licences, transfers)
• Handle Land Registry applications, post-completion matters and occasional SDLT work
• Build and develop strong client relationships and support business development
• Work closely with senior team members to manage workflows and service delivery

Candidate Requirements

• Experience handling commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals
• Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant (non-contentious) work
• Ability to manage files independently and meet billing and time-recording targets
• Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills
• Team-focused approach with a strong client-service mindset

Desirable experience includes:

• Property development or agricultural property work
• Corporate or commercial experience (advantageous but not essential)
