A well-established organisation in Somerset is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their friendly team. This is a varied, office-based role supporting day-to-day finance operations, with plenty of opportunity to develop your skills.

Key responsibilities
  • Process payments, invoices, and refunds accurately
  • Monitor outstanding balances and support payment collection
  • Maintain finance records on systems and Excel
  • Respond to queries by phone and email in a professional manner
  • Support billing processes and instalment plans
  • Assist with credit control and debt monitoring
  • Provide general finance and administrative support as required
About you
  • Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or admin role
  • Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills
  • Confident using Excel and finance systems
  • Well organised and able to manage a busy workload
  • A team player with a proactive approach
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
