Residential Conveyancer

We are seeking a Residential Conveyancer with over 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in managing complex conveyancing matters. This role involves providing expert legal services in residential conveyancing, focusing on complex issues such as deeds of grant, covenants, easements, and more. Ideal for a legal professional looking to impact a dynamic team while working in a hybrid setting.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage all aspects of residential conveyancing to ensure transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct thorough due diligence across all stages of a residential property transaction.
• Provide expert legal advice on various aspects of property law including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, new builds, and more.
• Maintain a high standard of client service, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
• Achieve individual time and billing targets, managing a varied caseload and adapting to changing priorities.
• Support business development initiatives to expand the conveyancing team and the wider firm.
• Mentor and support the professional development of junior staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years PQE in residential conveyancing with a focus on complex legal matters.
• Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience in property law, including but not limited to lease extensions, deeds of variation, and equity release transactions.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent client service skills with the ability to provide clear and concise legal advice.
• Proven track record in business development and team growth.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
