The Role
As an Education Recruitment Consultant, you’ll play a key role in our team by:
- Building and maintaining client relationships with schools, academies, and educational institutions.
- Forging new partnerships to expand our client base and grow our business.
- Filling bookings by matching the right candidates with the right roles.
- Managing registrations for candidates and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Maintaining compliance with safeguarding, DBS checks, and other regulatory requirements.
- Creating and distributing marketing materials to attract both clients and candidates.
- Completing client visits to engage in new business partnerships and enhance existing relationships
- Managing timesheets and payroll referrals and ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Adapting to change and embracing the unpredictability of a small business environment
No two days are the same, and your ability to stay organised, flexible, and proactive will be vital to your success in this role.
What We’re Looking For
- A passionate and enthusiastic individual with a strong interest in education and recruitment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients and candidates
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to commit to occasional on-call shifts
- Experience in recruitment, education, or customer service is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
- A commitment to compliance and attention to detail
- Local knowledge of the Torbay and Teignbridge area will be high advantageous
