As Sales Advisor - Proposals, you will be an integral part of the bid preparation process for SP&S, bringing knowledge from the early engagement phase and working closely together with proposal coordinators to support ALL bid submission requirements and deadlines for the allocated region. Take ownership and accountability for critical Commercial aspects of bid, including risk and opportunity management, key commercial terms, achieving required toll gates and ensuring timely bid submission.

Delivering for our Customers and creating sustainable value for Baker Hughes, the Early Engagement Commercial Managers will be responsible for leading the EE activities for the SPS Product Company -, support the development of the deal capture strategy with Regional Sales, FEED studies, tendering and ultimately securing new business contracts to ensure we maintain a strong backlog of successful & executable projects.
Working as a key member of the Global Early Engagement Commercial Team to support achievement of the region's sales, order, and margin targets for the FPS business
Owning the region strategy for EE Offshore & Onshore together with Sales, and implementing it by driving capture planning, long-term deal prioritization, and early engagement pipeline processes
Delivering leadership, challenging others constructively, building strong relationships, negotiating confidently with customers, and maintaining an unwavering drive to succeed
Ensuring deal and project knowledge continuity throughout the project lifecycle via capture planning
Leading opportunity pursuits in close partnership with Regional Sales teams, nominated Project Managers/Directors, and the FPS COE proposals team to oversee early engagement studies, partner selections, tendering activities, and contract finalization
Owning, developing, and evolving customer relationships and opportunity capture strategies alongside Sales to position FPS for winning key deals, flexible deals, and other market opportunities at maximum price levels
Influencing customer choices to position Baker Hughes for success while ensuring adherence to customer requirements, outcomes, and specifications
Championing the "One Team" philosophy and culture, driving continuity from initial early engagement through delivery by closely interacting with customers, internal functions, OFE/SPS leadership, and other stakeholders, while mentoring pursuit tender/project teams to ensure alignment
