We are working in partnership with a high-performing girls’ school in Tonbridge to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Sociology Teacher for a permanent position starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher who is passionate about Sociology and keen to inspire students to think critically about society, culture and contemporary issues.

The Role:

• Teaching Sociology at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5
• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
• Assessing, monitoring and supporting pupil progress
• Contributing to a supportive and forward-thinking humanities / social sciences department

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have strong experience teaching Sociology, ideally at GCSE and A-Level
• Be passionate about the subject and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
• Thrive in a girls’ school environment
• ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
