Employee Relations Advisor

Lead on complex ER in a supportive, close-knit team
I'm looking for an experienced and confident Employee Relations Advisor to take ownership of ER across the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a hands-on, impactful role, working closely with the Head of HR and senior leaders to create a fair, consistent, and positive working environment.
You’ll play a key role in leading ER activity and ensuring a smooth handover within a well-established, collaborative HR team.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading end-to-end management of disciplinary, grievance, capability, and investigation cases
- Conducting detailed and sensitive investigations, producing clear recommendations
- Advising managers and senior leaders on employment law and best practice
- Supporting restructures, redundancies and consultation processes
- Managing risk and promoting a positive ER culture across the organisation
About you
- Strong experience handling complex ER casework
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law
- Confident influencing and advising senior stakeholders
- Strong written skills, with the ability to produce clear, evidence-based reports
- Calm, pragmatic, and solutions-focused approach
- CIPD Level 5 (desirable, not essential)
The details
- Full-time – 37.5 hours (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5:00pm)
- Primarily office-based (some flexibility may be considered)
- Salary: Up to £45,000
- 5 weeks annual leave + bank holidays
