1:1 SEN Tutor Required – Rainham, Kent (Part-Time)

Location: Rainham, Kent
Start Date: 1st June
Hours: Monday to Friday (Part-Time Hours)
Pay: Competitive (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Tutor to support a primary-aged student based in Rainham, Kent. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in a child’s educational journey.

Role Overview

You will be providing tailored, one-to-one tuition to a primary-aged learner, helping them to engage with learning and reach their potential in a supportive and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised tuition sessions aligned with the student’s needs and abilities
• Build a positive, trusting relationship with the student
• Adapt teaching strategies to support engagement and learning
• Work consistently Monday to Friday on a part-time basis

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working with children, ideally within an educational or tutoring setting
• Confidence supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including:
  
  • ADHD
  • Autism
  • SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs)
• A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach
• Strong communication skills
