Practice Nurse - Part-Time

We have an exciting opportunity arisen at our friendly, pro-active G.P Practice. Our Practice is fast-paced and we seek an enthusiastic and committed Practice Nurse, to join our existing team. You will be working with our experienced supportive team of 3 nurses and healthcare assistant.

Approx 20 hours per week but it is essential we have flexibility from the applicant regarding hours of work to assist with cover when required.

Hours of Work

Tuesday and Wednesday 2 full days. Hours to be discussed.

Our mission is to provide our patients with a high standard of primary care services and this role is supporting our team to deliver this care.

Responsibilities

• You will be required to work as part of our clinical team in the care of practice patients to include treatment, preventative care, screening and patient education delivered both face to face and remotely.
• Conducting Chronic disease reviews and monitoring
• Vaccinations and Immunisations
• Travel Health Advice
• Family Planning and Women's Health
• Audit and Research
• Education and Training of students within the Practice

Qualifications

• Nursing: 1 year (preferred)
• Any applicant must be flexible to a range of working hours across the week due to practice opening hours.
