Reed Lancashire is currently working with a well-established and growing organisation based in the South Ribble area, who are looking to appoint a Business Development Co-ordinator on a permanent, full-time basis due to continued expansion.

The Role and Responsibilities
As a Business Development Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of the business by identifying and engaging with prospective clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for new client enquiries
- Proactively researching and identifying potential new business opportunities
- Conducting outbound calls and follow-ups to generate interest and build pipelines
- Responding to inbound enquiries via phone and email
- Building strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and promoting suitable solutions
- Upselling and cross-selling where appropriate
- Booking qualified appointments for the external business development team
- Working closely with the sales function to ensure a smooth handover of opportunities
- Working towards targets based on appointment bookings and lead generation
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A positive, proactive and tenacious approach
- The ability to self-motivate and manage your own workload effectively
- Confidence and professionalism when speaking on the phone
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Good IT skills and familiarity with CRM systems or similar
- Experience in building and maintaining strong customer relationships
Salary and Benefits
- Salary in the region of circa £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
