IFA ADMINISTRATOR / TEAM LEADER
Location: Altrincham / Hybrid – Two days WFH
Salary: Up to £32,500
NJR Recruitment are working in Partnership with a grown firm of Regional Independent Financial Planners who are now seeking an experienced and motivated IFA Administrator Team Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled financial services professional to take the next step in their career, combining hands-on administrative expertise with team leadership responsibilities.
Our client will consider candidates coming from Banking, Financial Planning or a Provider Platform, however you MUST demonstrate leadership, supervisory or team leader experience.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers while overseeing the day-to-day workflow of the administration team. This position requires strong technical knowledge, leadership capability, and a proactive approach to improving processes and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support a team of IFA Administrators, ensuring high performance and productivity
- Oversee the end-to-end client administration process, from onboarding through to policy servicing
- Allocate workloads and monitor deadlines to ensure service levels are met
- Act as a point of escalation for complex queries and cases
- Maintain and improve internal processes to drive efficiency and accuracy
- Support advisers with client reviews, new business submissions, and compliance requirements
- Ensure all activities meet FCA regulatory standards
About You:
- Proven experience within an IFA / Wealth Management environment
- Strong knowledge of financial products including pensions, investments, and protection
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
