Finance Assistant

RG Consultancy are proud to be working with an excellent company who are looking to add a Finance Assistant to their Warrington based accounts team.

This Finance Assistant role will have a focus on accounts payable and play a key part in the day-to-day accounting operations whilst also supporting the Management Accountant with month-end activities.

Duties include:

• Processing supplier invoices
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies
• Monitor and manage the accounts inbox
• Dealing with supplier queries
• Weekly/monthly payment runs
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Assist with month end journals
• Financial reporting as required
• Assist with daily bank reconciliations
• Support with credit control as required

This Finance Assistant role is ideal for someone who is studying towards AAT and looking to get some more involvement in the month end process.
