Overview:
We are currently seeking a Yard Person to join our team at Breedon Tile.  

As a Yard Person you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the yard.

More about what you will do…

• To adherence to Company Health & Safety working practices and legislative regulations 
• Making up orders i.e. picking stock, assembling products on a pallet and putting heat shrunk hoods on them
• Loading and unloading lorries using a forklift 
• Checking goods received
• Moving palletised product from manufacturing area to storage areas in the yard
• Stock checks
• Loading product into customers small trailers and vans 
• Carrying sample roof tiles to office from store
• Stacking and tidying products on pallet racking in store

What we need from you…

• Previous experience in a yard, or similar hands-on operational role would be desirable
• Attention to detail and accurate completion of paperwork
• Understands the importance of health & safety and stock control 
• Product knowledge of roof tiles and a forklift licence would be desirable, but training will be provided;
