Jackson Hogg is working with a key client in Stockton who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant into their finance team. You will support senior stakeholders with high-quality financial information and play a central part in the month-end process across multiple business units and/or client entities.

• Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts across assigned divisions/entities
• Producing accurate, insightful financial information for board-level and budget holder use
• Partnering with operational management and financial stakeholders, providing regular updates and analysis
• Ownership of sales and purchase ledger processes, including debt management
• Supporting and overseeing junior team members
• Leading on month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of statutory accounts, including audit support where required
• Acting as a key contact for external auditors
• Supporting cashflow management, forecasting and VAT returns

• Fully qualified (ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience producing management accounts and financial reporting packs
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including reconciliations and month-end processes
• Ability to deliver clear financial insights and build relationships with stakeholders
• Confident working both independently and as part of a wider team
