Recruitment Consultant – Technical / Construction / Engineering

Laindon, Essex – Office Based

Basic Salary £30,000 – £40,000 DOE + Realistic Double OTE

Adore Recruitment are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant with a background in technical, construction or engineering recruitment to join our growing team.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely knows the industry and can hit the ground running — someone commercially aware, confident managing relationships and developing business, but who also values being part of a collaborative and positive team culture.

This role would suit an experienced recruiter who enjoys building long-term client relationships, developing accounts and working within a supportive, ambitious business that has clear growth plans.

The role

• Managing and developing existing client relationships
• Re-engaging lapsed clients from an established database
• Winning new business and growing your own desk
• Sourcing and managing candidates across technical/construction/engineering sectors
• Meeting clients and candidates face-to-face when required
• Working closely with the existing management team

Requirements

• Proven recruitment experience within technical, construction or engineering sectors
• Strong business development ability
• Confident managing the full recruitment process
• Professional, self-motivated and commercially minded
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills

This is primarily an office-based role in Laindon, although travel will be required for client and candidate meetings.
