We're recruiting for a Management Accountant on a temp-to-perm basis to join a growing business based on the Birmingham Business Park. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day finance function, with strong exposure to operational reporting and senior stakeholders, and a clear opportunity to move into a permanent position.

• Production of monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Variance analysis and commentary against budget and forecast
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts, working closely with operational managers
• Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close duties
• Cashflow reporting and support with working capital management
• Analysis of operational and logistics costs to support decision-making
• Supporting year-end and audit processes as required
• Identifying and improving finance processes and controls
