Location: Burnham-On-Sea

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £35,000 to £65,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Working Pattern: Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in the office

Contract: Full-time or Part-time

Experienced Conveyancer sought to join established and collaborative Conveyancing team of well regarded local high street practice in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset.

Candidates with any level of experience would be welcome to apply as consideration will be given to any individuals with relevant experience and keen to join this superb team.

Position Overview

You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, including more complex matters where appropriate. Work will include:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Transfers of equity
  • Remortgages
  • New build transactions
  • Equity release matters
  • Title investigation, requisitions and lender requirements
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties
  • Working closely with colleagues to support the wider team

Experienced candidates will have scope to take on complex matters, support colleagues, and contribute to leadership within the department.

This firm's focus is on technical quality, strong client care and manageable caseloads, delivered within a supportive, team-based environment (not volume conveyancing).

Requirements

  • Proven experience running residential conveyancing files independently
  • Strong technical knowledge, particularly in leasehold and equity release work
  • Qualified (Licensed Conveyancer / Solicitor / CILEX) or experienced non-qualified applicants welcomed (at any level)
  • A genuine team player who works well within a collaborative environment
  • Ambition and commercial awareness, including a willingness to assist in attracting and developing work
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and excellent client communication
