Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will provide day-to-day accounting and transactional support across a wide range of finance activities.

Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant:

• Set up and validate new suppliers, process supplier invoices, and prepare payment runs.
• Record financial transactions in Microsoft Dynamics AX and maintain digital filing systems.
• Manage the finance inbox and respond to supplier and employee queries.
• Support the senior finance team with month-end activities and ad hoc tasks.
• Carry out bank reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and embrace AI to streamline finance operations.

What we are looking for:

• Experience using accounting software such as Dynamics or Sage.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Previous experience working in a busy finance team, ideally within financial services.
• AAT qualified, part-qualified, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to meet deadlines.
• A motivated team player aligned to the company’s values of being Credible, Open, Bold and Committed.
