Finance Manager – Accountancy Practice

We are working with a highly regarded, forward-thinking accountancy practice with multiple offices across Essex and London, now looking to appoint a talented Finance Manager to manage their internal accounts and support their continued growth.

The Role

Working closely with senior leadership, you will take responsibility for delivering high-quality financial reporting for the partners

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation and review of management accounts for a varied client base
• Production of statutory accounts in line with current regulations
• Overseeing and reviewing VAT returns
• Supporting clients with month-end and year-end processes
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing commercial insight and support
• Assisting with workflow management and supporting junior team members

About You

• Strong background within an accountancy practice environment
• Qualified or part-qualified (AAT/ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
• Confident preparing both management and statutory accounts
• Solid working knowledge of VAT and compliance requirements
• Strong communication skills, able to build relationships with clients
• Organised, proactive, and commercially aware
• Experience of working managing the accounts for a professional business services or ideally an accountancy practice
