Pre-Hires Coordinator

Reed Business Support are supporting our client who are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Pre-Hires Coordinator to join their team. This role is crucial in delivering a smooth and positive onboarding experience, ensuring new employees join the business efficiently and with a great first impression.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Administer pre-employment checks, issue contracts, and support the onboarding process.
  • Provide first-line support to new starters and employees.
  • Work closely with the wider People and Payroll team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and excellent customer service throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Produce and issue contracts of employment, secondment letters, and offer documentation.
  • Ensure efficient administration of pre-employment checks in line with business requirements.
  • Support updates to contracts and ways of working to reflect new policies.
  • Assist with job evaluation administration and contract template updates.
  • Respond to employee and new starter queries via email, tickets, and telephone.
  • Ensure accurate data transfer between HR systems, such as Workday.
  • Support managers and employees with Workday administration.
  • Provide general administrative support across the People and Payroll team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an HR or People support/administration role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A strong customer service mindset with confident communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to agreed service levels.
  • Experience working with HR systems, Workday is desirable.
  • Good standard of English and Maths.
