Primary Teachers - Sevenoaks

Academics are currently recruiting in Sevenoaks for Supply Teachers to support a range of primary schools across West Kent. With demand continuing to grow throughout the next academic year, we are looking to speak with qualified teachers seeking flexible and rewarding work opportunities.

Who can apply?

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold UK QTS
• Have teaching experience across at least two Key Stages (EYFS & KS1 or KS1 & KS2)
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be adaptable, reliable, and confident working in different school environments

Ideally, you will:

• Be available between 2-5 days per week
• Have access to your own transport
• Be willing to travel up to 30 minutes

What does the role involve?

Most bookings are arranged in advance, although there may occasionally be same-day opportunities between 6am and 9am.

In most cases, schools will provide planning for the day. However, having a small bank of adaptable resources for different year groups is beneficial. As a Supply Teacher, you will be expected to:

• Follow each school's policies and procedures
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour
• Mark completed work where required
• Leave clear handover notes for the returning class teacher
