This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of two days per week in the Newcastle area office. The successful candidate will play a key role in qualifying inbound marketing leads, generating outbound pipeline, and working closely with Sales and Marketing to accelerate new business growth.
The Role
Act as the link between Marketing and Sales, qualifying inbound MQLs and passing quality opportunities to the BDM team
Generate new pipeline through targeted outbound activity across phone, email and LinkedIn
Deliver a consistent volume of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) against agreed targets
Run effective discovery and qualification conversations aligned to ICP criteria
Create, test and optimise outreach sequences for inbound and outbound activity
Work closely with Marketing and BDMs to share insight and ensure strong opportunity handover
Use modern sales technology and AI enabled tools to work efficiently and at scale
Maintain accurate CRM data and continuously test new approaches to improve performance
The Person
At least 6 months’ experience in a customer facing or sales development role (ideally B2B)
Strong communicator with the ability to listen, probe and uncover customer needs
Resilient and motivated, comfortable working to targets in a fast paced environment
Organised self starter, able to work autonomously while collaborating with wider teams
Confident engaging stakeholders at all levels, including senior decision makers
Comfortable using CRM and sales tools, with a data driven, curious mindset and appetite for learning
