Assistant Management Accountant

£32,000 - £35,000 + Benefits

West London | Hybrid Working (4 days office / Fridays remote)

We are currently partnering with a growing premium women’s fashion retailer, looking to hire an Assistant Management Accountant to join its finance team based in West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step up from an Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant position into a broader role with greater exposure to month end, reconciliations, reporting and business partnering responsibilities.

The company is looking to move quickly, therefore candidates who are immediately available or on a short notice period are particularly encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do

Working closely with the Management Accountant & Finance Director, the role will involve:

• Month end support and reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Fixed assets and depreciation
• Stock reconciliations and adjustments
• Profit & loss analysis
• VAT return support
• Systems testing and process improvement work
• Supporting and overseeing a junior Finance Assistant

What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting month end processes
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Experience within retail, ecommerce or stock-led environments would be advantageous
