An established technology business is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a development team delivering mission-critical applications across a global platform.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership position combining team management, technical oversight, and delivery ownership.

You will guide engineers through the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high standards of quality, structure, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Software Engineers
• Oversee delivery to agreed timelines and quality standards
• Support Agile processes (planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Contribute to technical design and architecture
• Maintain code quality, standards, and best practice
• Support releases, deployments, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Strong software development background (4+ years)
• Degree Educated, 2:1 or above
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers
• Experience with C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Solid understanding of software architecture and best practice
• Experience with databases (SQL Server / PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with CI/CD and version control
