Teacher of Music - KS3 & KS4 (Long-Term Ongoing Role)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Worksop on a long-term ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging and creative music lessons that promote achievement and participation.

The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to motivate students of varying abilities.

• Plan and deliver high-quality Music lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Prepare engaging schemes of work and differentiated lesson materials.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and participation.
• Support students in developing practical, theoretical, and performance-based musical skills.
• Prepare students for GCSE Music examinations and coursework requirements.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Contribute to extracurricular music activities, performances, concerts, or school productions where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and senior leadership to support student development.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, attainment, and behaviour.
