Warehouse Operative

Salary: £27,227 – 28,500 (dependant on experience)

Summary

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Warehouse Operative to join their ever growing team, supplying a portfolio of over 33,000 products to their customers. The successful candidate will be providing a streamlined and efficient service within their UK operation, to enable stringent delivery timeframes are met. The ideal candidate is an experienced warehouse worker with good communication, being able to work well both within a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all incoming and outgoing goods are of the required company standards
• Manage local inventory in excess of 2000 articles, ensuring that low stock items are restocked in a timely manner
• Pick pack & dispatch orders accurately within specified timeframes
• Book stock into warehouse accurately and barcode as required
• Assist with stock take within specified timeframes
• Maintain product location data
• Maintain clean warehouse environment
• Continuously improve warehouse processes

Requirements

• Great communication skills, including contacting customers and suppliers if required
• Ability to work at a fast pace whilst being adaptive, positive and effective
• Ability to work with all levels of company staff
• Computer literate
• Commitment to gain counterbalance and reach fork licenses

Desirable

• SAP experience
• Full clean UK driving license
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems
• FLT Licence (counter balance/reach)
