Junior CNC Milling Setter / Operator

Shift: Day shift, flexible hours

Pay: £14.00 – £14.50 per hour

Actio Engineering Recruitment are supporting a well-established precision engineering company in Exhall as they look to add a Junior CNC Milling Setter/Operator to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CNC experience who wants to develop their skills.

The Role

You will be responsible for setting and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls, producing a variety of precision components. Duties include:

• Setting and operating 3-axis mills
• Loading programmes and making basic adjustments
• Running batches to specification
• Carrying out in-process checks to maintain quality
• Working with the wider machining team to meet production targets

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Some prior experience in CNC milling (setting or operating)
• Familiarity with Heidenhain controls or a willingness to learn
• A reliable, positive approach and good attention to detail
• A desire to develop and progress within precision engineering
