The Role

As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in keeping production lines running at peak performance. You'll be responsible for maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

Working Hours: 39.82 hours per week

Shifts rotating every 02 weeks between days and nights

  • Day Shift - 05:45 - 18:15
  • Night Shift - 17:45 - 06:15
Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete work orders using the CMMS system
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance safely and efficiently
  • Diagnose and resolve faults in line with KPIs and production targets
  • Deliver PPM schedules and maintain accurate maintenance records
  • Raise and manage spare parts requisitions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
  • Supervise contractors and ensure compliance when required
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the workshop and across site
Skills & Experience:
  • Electrical and Mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or above)
  • 18th Edition (or equivalent)
  • Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • IOSH (or equivalent health & safety qualification)
  • FLT licence (desirable)
  • Good IT skills
