Job Title: Administrator
Location: Ashford
Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Administrator to join our clients admin team. The successful candidate will manage customer interactions and order processing, keep records up to date, troubleshoot issues, and oversee the progress of ongoing orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Speak with customers by phone and email to take orders, answer queries, and provide updates
• Process orders accurately using internal systems and follow established procedures
• Maintain and update customer and order records to ensure data integrity
• Troubleshoot order-related issues, coordinate with relevant teams to resolve problems, and communicate outcomes to customers
• Manage ongoing orders from receipt through to fulfilment, tracking progress and escalating delays or exceptions when necessary
• Prioritise workload to meet deadlines and support peak periods
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive customer relationships

Skills and experience

• Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role involving order processing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable speaking with customers
• Accurate data entry and record keeping with strong attention to detail
• Good problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
