Finance Assistant (temporary)

We are currently supporting a growing business based in Accrington (hybrid working) in their search for a temporary Finance Assistant to support the finance team with a backlog of billing and invoicing work.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance or accounts administration experience to join a fast-paced environment and provide immediate support during a busy period. The role will involve a high volume of billing activity and would suit someone who is organised, detail-oriented and confident working to deadlines.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting with a backlog of billing and invoicing tasks.
  • Processing invoices and ensuring billing information is accurate and up to date.
  • Supporting reconciliation and general finance administration activities.
  • Investigating and resolving invoice queries with internal stakeholders.

Key requirements:

  • Previous experience within a finance, billing or accounts administration role.
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively.
  • Confident Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
