Property Information Officer Location: Hybrid Working – West London Rate: £375 per day Umbrella Contract: 3 Months Ongoing Hours: Full Time
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Property Information Officer to join a busy Property and Estates team within a Local Authority on a hybrid working basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong experience managing property records, asset information systems, and property data within either a local authority or private sector environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the Council’s Property Information Officer
Maintain and develop property data and asset register systems
Ensure accurate capture, storage, and management of property information and records
Process and respond to internal and external property information requests
Monitor compliance with data retention schedules and legal requirements
Liaise with ICT teams to ensure property systems remain fit for purpose
Produce reports from property information and finance systems
Provide guidance and training to colleagues on property data processes and systems
Support continuous improvement of property information procedures and service delivery
Requirements:
Previous experience working with property records within a local authority or property environment
Strong knowledge of title deeds, land registry records, leases, licences, and legal property documentation
Experience using property databases and GIS systems
Excellent IT, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
Good understanding of data management, retention, and compliance requirements
Desirable:
Experience working within a Property & Estates team in local government
Advanced qualifications such as A Levels or equivalent
