A leading consultancy operating within complex digital, cyber and data environments is looking to hire a number of Data Engineers to join their growing London team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around 2-4 years' experience who is looking to further develop their data engineering career within large-scale enterprise and government-focused projects.
Role OverviewYou'll work alongside architects, analysts and data scientists to build and maintain scalable data solutions. The role will focus on developing data pipelines, supporting cloud-based infrastructure and helping clients process and consume data more effectively.
Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Develop scalable data engineering solutions using modern engineering best practices
- Work with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements
- Support data modelling, orchestration and data management activities
- Configure and maintain cloud-based data infrastructure
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary technical teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and challenges
Skills & Experience Required - 2-4 years' experience within Data Engineering or similar roles
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Experience working with ETL pipelines and large datasets
- Understanding of cloud-based data platforms/infrastructure
- Knowledge of DataOps or software engineering best practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work within collaborative technical teams
