The Opportunity

We are working with a large, internationally recognised services business operating within a fast-paced, operationally complex environment. The organisation supports major global clients and has a strong presence across the UK, offering excellent exposure and long-term career progression within a high-performing finance team.

This is a great opportunity for a Financial Accountant looking to step into a broad role with both reporting and business-facing elements, working closely with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts (P&L and balance sheet)
• Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of strong financial controls
• Support with statutory accounts and year-end audit process
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Preparation and review of VAT returns and tax-related requirements
• Partner with FP&A and wider business teams to provide insight and analysis
• Support ongoing process improvements and systems enhancements

Candidate Profile

• Strong grounding in financial reporting and controls
• Good systems experience (Excel and ERP systems)
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Confident communicator, able to engage with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
