CAD Technician

Hours - Monday to Friday full time
Salary £30-36k plus benefits

We are recruiting an experienced CAD Technician to join a growing design & build company delivering exhibition stands, event environments, and branded spaces.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong technical drawing and CAD skills, looking to work on fast-paced, creative projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce 2D & 3D CAD drawings (exhibition stands / event structures)
• Create CNC machining plans and production drawings
• Prepare artwork templates for large-format graphics
• Ensure compliance with venue regulations & build standards
• Support design, project, and production teams throughout delivery

Requirements

• Experience using AutoCAD or Vectorworks
• Background in fabrication, construction, joinery, or exhibitions
• Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects

Desirable

• Exhibition, events, or retail fit-out experience
• Knowledge of CDM / UK event regulations

Package

• £30,000 – £36,000 (DOE)
