REED FE are excited to offer the opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled Construction Technician to join a Construction department to start in September. This role is ideal for someone with a background in various construction trades such as Brickwork, Carpentry, and Plumbing.


Construction Technician

  • Annual Salary: £28,564.64
  • Location: South London
  • Job Type: Full-time 8:45 - 5pm Mon - Fri

Day-to-day of the role of a Construction Technician:

  • Support students in learning practical skills in the workshops.
  • Supervise and maintain workshops, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Responsible for ordering stock, maintaining a stock of consumables, and preparing materials for student activities.
  • Manage the cleaning and maintenance of equipment.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Construction Technician Role :

  • At least a Level 2 vocational qualification in Brickwork, Carpentry, or Plumbing.
  • Knowledge and industry experience in at least two of the following areas: Brickwork, Carpentry, and Plumbing.
  • Experience working with young people.
  • Full First Aid Qualification (or willing to obtain).
  • Pro-active approach and ability to work independently.
