  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate financial data.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.

Profile

A successful Head of Financial Accounting should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and compliance standards.
  • Proven leadership abilities to manage and motivate a finance team effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
  • Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environment.
